It's Official: PENNEY goes Back to Back; Thursday Final Four Preview

Here's the Headlines for Wednesday Volleyballiga Final Four Recap:

PENNEY stops  HARSHBERGER, goes BACK TO BACK
To win a LIGA Championship is hard, but Team PENNEY was able to win back to back titles for the first time in the team history as they stopped a tough HARSHBERGER squad.
PENNEY played with extreme confiendce, but the major difference was their camaraderie and team flow which put them on another level.

 HARSHBERGER made a serious run in Game 2, but PENNEY dissolved the run with a run of their own, and while the game did get a little feisty, cooler heads prevailed, and PENNEY went on to win their 2nd LIGA Championship.
With it comes the impressive win streak of 58 straight wins, which is an amazing feat in itself.

SEMIFINAL RECAP: 

(3) HARSHBERGER   defeats  (2) CRIDGE  (2-1)to move to LIGA Championship
In the Series of the Night, Team HARSH won the 1st set in convincing fashion, then CRIDGE bounced back with a nice win of its own, forcing a win or go home 3rd Set.
With the game in the fold HARSH was able to grab the late momentum, as they took a lead at 21-20 and never looked back.
HARSH made it to its first ever LIGA Championship game in its first season



(1) PENNEY stops WEASELS  (2-0) for 3rd time to move to Championship
The WEASELS actually had a good season, except for the fact that they couldn't overcome the team known as PENNEY, as the champs was able to move to the LIGA Championship with another great victory over the WEASELS.
While Game 1 was very competitive, Game 2 was all PENNEY as they pulled out a 11-0 run to seize control early and roll to the LIGA Championship.

(2) HOME SCHOOLERS          vs    (3) ELLE DIGGS BUTT SETS     (6:30)
Can the SCHOOLERS prove that the Regular Season was not a fluke? They will be tested heavily by the champs of the LIGA. BUTT SETS have been waiting for the playoffs, but have we seen their best yet? Last week they survived a tough series.

ZACH DIGGS has shown they have the team that can win it all, but can they turn it up another notch to make it happen? They will face a team who lost in the LIGA Semis last year, and is hungry and ready for a LIGA Championship bid. Which team will reach their first ever LIGA Championship?
